Promo Photo Shoot Collaboration with Irish Blogger Agency

An opportunity arose to be involved in a promo photo shoot collaboration through the Irish Blogger Agency. You may remember I wrote a piece on attending their launch. I was delighted when I was accepted as MUA for the day. And even more excited when I read about the people I would be collaborating with. The shoot was held in the beautiful Wineport Lodge and styled by Suzie Mahony Designs and Olivia Danielle. The photographer for the day was John Walsh Photography who I had met previously at the launch of the Irish Blogger Agency. After chatting with Sinead from Irish Blogger Agency and the creator of Yummy Mummy Blog I decided on a minimal makeup look. I wanted the focus to be kept on the impeccably styled outfits and mesmerizing millinery.

Not all makeup is that of HOB Makeup Artistry

I took inspiration from one of my favourite makeup artists - Sue Brophy. I am a fan of her work and the looks she creates for editorial shoots. I had a fan girl moment last year when I saw her demo at the Blank Canvas Stand at the Beauty Show at the RDS !

But back to the look! I opted for a look that featured dewy, highlighted skin with a lip focus and keeping the eyes neutral.

What a setting we had over looking Lough Ree from the Wineport we had for the promo shoot for the Irish Blogger Agency. We were treated to some breakfast nibbles and coffee! I was feeling quite spoiled! On the morning a decision was made due to some unforeseen time limitations to ask the bloggers involved in the shoot to prepare their skin and apply foundation. This allowed me then to complete the look.
